About Us
The Wauconda Woman’s Club focuses on Community Service Programs for study and participation.
The club is headed by an elected board and has committees that devote time and resources by participating in:
Arts and Culture
Civic Engagement and Outreach
Environment
Education and Libraries
Health and Wellness
Volunteer service is also provided for community needs such as Veterans, Scholarship fund, Food Pantry, as well as various other local, state and international charities. The majority of our club‘s charities and donations are supported by our one large annual fundraising event.
We hope this brief overview of the WWC helps you get acquainted with us and encourages you to join in our efforts to serve our community, state and country. Our club is also proud to acknowledge it formed the first Wauconda Library.
Be Our Guest
Visit one of our monthly luncheon/meetings to get a feel for how we help the community. You'll get the chance to meet new friends and listen to a featured a speaker or participate in a social activity.
We meet at the Wauconda Township Hall on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, September through May. While our meetings are a great way to meet other members, attendance is not mandatory.
